I've said this before on Paragon with Bon and Ben right at the start, what really can you do ? There only a few Viable ways... LOMCN / The Faceb00k Group with 5k members / E-mail out to previous Email's from your old server's like Scorp did. Beside's that what really the **** can you do to advertise a 15 year old 2d game ?

And your the One who brought up Archon Nigel lol saying they had a great advertising campaign when all he was was E-mail Arcadia users which got the thread on LOMCN made then about a week later it popped up here on an Official thread.

setup a fbook campaign, maybe even a google adwords, for searches relating to the legend of mir

on fbook, you can show it to people who actually like the legend of mir.

Referral System will work something along these lines. NOT final and may NOT be accurate values.

• Fred's highest Level is 20.
• Fred Invites Greg to play Zircon.
• Greg creates an account and uses Fred's E-Mail as the Referral value. (As long as Fred has made an account it is activated this will be accepted)
• Greg gets 200 Hunt Gold because Fred's highest level is 20. (10 Hunt Gold per level)
• Greg buys 1000 Game Gold, Fred will get 100 Game Gold.
• Fred Levels to 21, Greg gets another 10 Hunt Gold.
• There is No limit to the number of people Fred can Invite.

Simply put.
You get 10% of any GameGold they buy.
They get 10 Hunt Gold for each new level that you have done / do

The more people you refer the more you are rewarded.

feel sorry for the people with no friends, technically only the "groups" will benefit highly from this. :P

they already have a bigger chance of getting stuff easier because of the size of the group/working together.

Why not make it a server-wide goal? very x amount of referrals benefits for everyone?...

I remember in primary school we used to have this Jar thing, When classes did well, we'd get a marble, and when the Jar got full, everyone got to watch a cartoon on a huge projector.

I mean this way maybe outdated, I'm talking a good 25 years a go.. :P

The referrer gives hunt gold based on his level.
Ie you have 5 friends who put u as referrer. U get 10% of their gamegold purchases they each get 10 hunt gold every time u level up.

Hunt gold purchases are not tradeable.

Don't know how levelling alts will help anyone gain hunt gold as you need to put then as the person who referred you in order to get hunt gold from their level. This is done before u create your char.

Having multiple alts put u as a referrer will result in those alts getting hunt gold, but they can't trade it so pointless.

You must be reading it wrong.

If let's say for example, you are LV60, and I put you as my referral.

Upon logging into my alt character, I have 600 Hunt Gold. Anything I buy is account bound to my Level1 character lol. This alt would in no way benefit my LV60 on a different account, because nothing can be traded/dropped or sold.

Then in reverse...why the fk would I buy GameGold on my LV1 just for that 10% reward to you? To have any actual "benefit" I would need to go full ham on another character, buying GameGold along the way.

Then lastly....600 Hunt Gold, really isn't a great deal. At most, and we're talking end game, you'd start with 800 Hunt Gold, and that will be a while yet, and at best provides you with a couple of temp buffs to get you going.


No abuse to be had on this.

should be after the server meets the (x) amount of referrals (x) amount % discount on gamegold for everyone for (x) amount of time.

Kind of the whole point for a referral system.

It's not exactly a massive gain, even at LV80 the reward is minimal, and the "reward" won't really be shown to any big groups until later on when the Hunt Gold actually starts to count.

I think this server has potential but due to the "other" server opening earlier it has gotten most of the interested players already. now the user count of Zircon is dropping hopefully on launch it will pick up. Good luck

It's dropping due to the end of testing and waiting for wipe/launch.
You will see it at the top of the user count list dont worry and that 'other' server will drop back to its usual 30-40 loyal players.

That other server is ****ing trash lol. When this opens it will have 300++ users easily.
