Why put these in GameShop? They single handedly can ruin a server and create an already big gap between casuals and no lifers.

Have them as a quest item or special pot drop that cant be abused but dont have it so people can just buy them constantly. Just seen it in GS and has ****ed me right off, immediately more inclined to pie this server off now. 40% Buff aswell!? Come on!!

Such a shame.

All exp pots do is give the money-having no-lifers an edge over the poorer no-lifers. Casuals will always be far behind them, regardless. Plus it's the server's main income source (probably) so it'd be stupid to not have them.

I bought one load when they were on offer but i wont be buying them now because i dont think they are worth 4k a pop.

However i don't think they should be taken out. Money is needed to keep a server alive. i would be quite happy to pay a subscription to be honest.

I had an idea of letting you buy 10 40% exp pots a week for 10 pounds. Then after that charge 5 pound per pot until week is over, means casuals can get some for weekend etc if they want to level and if the rich people wanna donate they still can.

Yeah people gonna say oh but thats same as people just not buying them and rich people donating, true... but i think its more the fact people have the exp pots to use to help them keep up also sounds silly but having an hour pot on makes people want to level/take advantage of that hour.

Im also pretty sure the rich people took advantage of that 1 pounds thing and bough like a 100, there should have been a cap per player on that also, as one is they dont need to buy more and sure gm’s lets say you made a nice 100 ppunds towards server cost you also shot yourself in foot as they wont need to donate again for ages.

Cant edit, you should have made some monthly donator thing like i dunno 20 a month and you have 40% exp on that char, then added other things into gameshop instead, lets say 200/400 paid 20 a month for the exp benefits thats £4000 a month alone from that. Then could have made abit more from odd things like pk reduce pots etc.

Even 10 pots a week is excessive though, i cant put 10 hours in a week, but while i put 5 hours in someone else puts 10 with X amount of EXP pots. I know people will always gain more from playing more but why give even more help to those who have alot of time.
If anything should be available to those who are logged out for X amount of time can buy EXP pots like rested exp to attempt to keep server more balanced.

I mean even if you did sub fee thing and capped the exp 40% to 5 pots a week, alot would still pay. It all depends on if you want a cash cow income or a steady income from the server.

But it creates more of an extreme gap, that isnt needed regardless. You hit the nail on the head though, its all about income for server unfortunately. I get they need to earn out of it, but not with exp advantages. Just wrong.

Yes but swoosh lets just say, sub fee (dont have to pay it) if you do, you get lets for example say

5x 40% exp pots per week. Also maybe other things could let players discuss like a subscriber mount skin etc.

Then remove exp pots from gg shop, lets for easy sake 100 donate this 15 a month thats £1500 a month at least, then you add on reduce pk pots, maybe the gm’s could start a thread to see what else they could add into gg shop instead of exp pots, then the best ideas could be implemented.

As i do agree if its a low rate shouldnt be unlimited amount of exp pots accesable, it should at least be capped per week. I get it guys you want to make money from server youve put time into it, but never let greed get best of you, thats how majority of servers ****ed up including chronicles, GM’s left luck7 max after how many people complained? Due to no curse pots.

Its a common trait for servers to die, also Jamies, same thing, once his servers slow on donating, he gives it to somebody else to run and lets it slowly degrade (isnt a dig at jamie as i get why work on something when its not bringing income), but once again the issue was, they made it cash cow first couple months then donations died out server dies out.

So down to gm’s if they want a long term server with a steady income on side or make a quick buck for few month.

It baffles me how people would pay £4 to save 24 mins of extra levelling per pot, you're effectively paying £10 per hour saved to play a 15 year old game on a private server, madness!
