Renaissance Server.
We have a lot of ideas from the Renaissance team, at the moment we are called Renaissance and GameMaster (May be updated later if we find it necessary).
Release date is currently unknown we have no date which we can release for you all, but we are hoping to have the server up and running completely functional and fun to play within a month or two.
All Feedback will be greatly appreciated, if you do wish to criticise please make it constructive.
Short Information on the Server (NOT FINAL):
- Start: The start level will be 1 with no gold and only basic equipment (Armor, Weapon, Potion and Candle), also the entire area of Bichon-Province will be a safe area for new players to safely train and relax.
- Challenging: The Renaissance team understands what makes a game fun and addictive to play, so we aim to make the game challenging unlike other servers, please bear in mind that the difficulty will be harder then some private servers but easier then the currect official server. This means that leveling will eventually become harder to achieve and bosses will require skilled players or guilds.
- Guilds: Guild's will NOT be an everyday thing to make and keep, Wooma Horn's will be somewhat rare to find, not to difficult but also not easy, and the typical 1,000,000 gold to form the guild. Guild Territory's will also be in the game, they will be 5,000,000 gold to purchase and 250,000 gold to keep. Guild Territory's will have a special teleport NPC and a boss spawn area for guild's to test there skills against bosses, however the bosses spawned will not drop any items neither will player's lose items should they die from the boss.
- Sabuk Wall: Much like Guild Territory, Sabuk Wall will have a special teleport NPC (different to the GT NPC) and will also have a 50% reduced prices to the holder of the wall and a special repair NPC who will Special Repair ALL items for a small fee.
- People: To make the server seem different, we will be adding NPC's that serve no purpose other than a nice chat, the reason for this is so the world seems habited.
- Exp Rate: Med/High Rate: Thing about how we are doing this is by doing low experience gained but low experience to level up. So it is still quick to level but you're not getting high number of experience or need to kill mass lures to level as quick.
- Group Hunting: This will be made so it actually gets used. More information on this at a later date.
- Boss Hunting: Bosses will indeed be hard to kill meaning it will be in your best interest to group up to fight bosses making full use of all classes and not having one class overpowered enough to solo everything.
- Quests: More information on this at a later date, we have some nice quest idea's from small to large.
- Crafting: We have idea's to get mining used more frequently, using ore and other materials to craft items and armor's, ofcourse items will be harder to craft for higher level and easier for lower levels.
- Gold Rate: Not easy to obtain we are planning on making it worth something and useful to have, making full use of the Crafting system and to make sure Mining and other sources of gold are worthwhile.
- Teleport NPC: Thinking of having a main NPC for most leveling caves, a lot less hassle but these won't be the only caves ingame there will be hidden caves and province caves.
- Item Stats: Debating whether to have low stats and make mobs fit around it, so it makes PvP more interesting other than people one/two hitting each other all the while. (Your thoughts on this will be appreciated)
- Upgrading: Upgrading will also be changed, not only will Gems, Orbs and Refining be in game we will be adding a new form of upgrade for items.
- 100% Custom: The server will be 100% custom made, only a few things will remain the same such as BW (to save confusion), but for weapons, armors and accesorys they will be completely renamed and custom to give the server a nice fresh feel.
- Indepth Conversation: Amongst the rest of the stuff we are adding to the server we will also be making the speach given by the NPC's to seem more realistic using speach marks to indicate speach allowing us to place emotion into the dialogue.
