Renounce

It might just be me being lazy / shitting my pants when my hp bar just suddenly looks like i am about to die.

But is it possible for Renounce to be a toggle ability instead of a cast?
It is coming from me being lazy and casting it every 2 mins but still :P

How would you have the cost of the spell done as a toggle?

Would you just have it auto cast every 2 minutes taking off the same amount of HP as it does now?

Or would it be better to have it constantly drain your HP while active by a set %/amount every X amount of seconds + cancel automatic character regain?


Could see this being equally beneficial for things like Defiance ^^ just have the current cost / time active and then have it as a "tick"

Well as long as the buff is on you, you have 40% reduced max hp.
If you want to take mana into account as well, i suppose have it consume mana by X every minute, if it can't take the mana, it toggles the ability off.

I love the word Toggle.

Renounce interacts poorly with the autopotion feature, because if I config it to use pots at X life with renounce, even when renounce finish it will not replenish my hp so half of the time I think I'm about to die!

A suggestion to the "mana consumption": may it can consumme all the mana bar when activate it, so we spend some pots, and can't use it without having all the mana.
