You tried playing about with the compatibility settings? I had a similar problem running Windows 8. I made sure it was set to Win XP S3, Disabled DPI scaling and managed to get it working perfect.

Go to your graphics card settings and scale to full screen.

Right click on desktop and select "Graphics Properties". It will bring up a large box. Turn down the Resolution to 1024 x 768 and apply it.
This will make your desktop shrink to the size of the Mir screen.
Then select "Scaling" on the same box and select "Scale Full Screen", apply.
This will now bring the desk top and Mir to full screen.
The desk top will look a bit odd so change the resolution again back to 1366x768, apply.

Believe it or not, in the current day of technology you can send a picture of your screen without using a camera phone!

Theres even a button for it on the keyboard!

"Prt Sc" AKA Print Screen.

Simply hit the button, and then paste into MS Paint.

You will be amazed at what happens.

Would think its either your graphics options or monitor settings somewhere that isn't allowing stretching.

What you do is you go to "settings"... you sit back... crack a bear open... ponder the meaning of life.... go for a brisk walk... have a cherry bakewell tart.... chill out... ponder the meaning of life a bit more.... grab your monitor... throw it off a 15th floor balcony... buy a new monitor... install Mir.... try again.... wash your balls.... ponder the meaning of life a little more... then it should work fine.

Hope this helps.
I joke... quite a lot of people have this problem.

Haha put a smile on my face! Been having a read and it's somthing to with nVidia taking away the option to scale and to do with self scaling monitors which I think mine is, like say any other game it's fine, it's just Mir :@
