Respawns

Have anyone actually tried coding a tool to do spawns automatically i mean u put in the mobs and ranges etc and it do respawns automatically and put it in a textdoc?

I started this project quite a while ago don't know if im gonna finish it or not because its pointless to some people as all respawns done manually via picking coords from mapedit tool, but i'm that kind of a guy when he does respawns i get coords every 4 steps, so its long thats when i started working on the project lol, is it worth finishing it?

i did one in the only language a know, vb, and ended up in a fail tbh.. it would be very nice if the tool could do as follows:

you enter the map name of the map you want to do spawns.. after entering the name it opens in a side the image of the map you want.. kind of a mapeditor that displays the map but in a very small dimension.. then you can click over the map to choose where you want the mobs to spawn and with a scroll bar you can choose how big the spawn radius is and with another scroll bar you can choose how many you want.. while highering the number you will see red random dots appearing in the radius on the map showing you more or less how it will spawn mobs..

i would like it this way but i don't know how to make maps appear in a small portion of the program..

u know ppl wouldnt use it as most ppl just do random coords and put 1000 spread and 1000 mobs.

plus.. every 4 steps is stupid like i said hany.. it all depends on the map size also

its basically the dilemma of trying to fix something which isn't broken, sure it would be nice, but is it worth going through the trouble of making ? most people get on fine with how it currently is.
