Returning Player Help With Patcher Please

Hi guys,

Had a bit of a break but now I'm baaaack.

Logged into the game for it to tell me I needed to run the patcher. So i've downloaded the new patcher from the sticker and extracted it into my existing MirChronicles folder.

When I run the patcher, it loads up the patch list - says its downloading 232 files - then just as the green bar at the bottom gets to the end (very quickly) a pop up appears saying...

"Could not save File, File is being used by another program. Patching Stopped."

Ive restarted a few times, but no joy.

Any ideas how to fix?

Or am i going to have to delete the mirchronicles on my PC and then redownload? ( If I do this, will i lose my items? Sounds stupid, but just wondering).

You will not lose items, they are stored server side.

Are you running the patch program as admin and also is the game closed when you are running it.

Yeah its run as admin and the game is closed when attempting to run the patcher.

Resolved!

If anyone else has the same problem i just changed the PatchClient.ini to http:// instead of ftp:// and its now downloading.

Feel free to delete this thread mods
