Beta 6 finished, dunno if I can deal with the riftdrawls until the 15th.
Hit the level cap earlier today so looking forward to next beta to check out the next instance etc. Instances are pretty good, nice bosses.. got wiped quite a few times but was enjoyable, not too easy to be boring and not too hard to end up raging. Drop rates seem pretty good, unlike aion where you have to grind 15 instances to see a single item drop, we were seeing a few items per run.. no purple items though

Drops have been increased in Aion now, even Kinha is easy to get. Still don't think this will be better then Aion but goin to give a try, has to be more to Rifts then what it is now because it's pointless at the moment and the game is called after them.
The game is much better than aion, thats obvious from the beginning imo.
Also, whats pointless about rifts? They are a good source of exp & drops and they are enjoyable. At higher levels you can buy tokens to open up different types of rifts with harder bosses, better drops n so on.
The name is to do with the storyline the game is based upon.. I don't read into the lore, I have no interest in it.

Because Rifts is just really another source of a Instance if you think about it, and if Rifts are the main feature in this game then it's never going to be successful, the games are involving and Rift haven't really do much to stand out from the others, great graphics don't get me wrong but at the moment from what they have released and told us about Rift really isnt exciting, it will be better when they let people into the rifts and into the monsters world but from what iv heard they ait going to do that for a long time, imo they need to add that in before they fully release.
Its an mmo, they are all the same the same thing. The fact that its got good game play, a nice character build system, smooth pvp, open world pvp & player drops is enough to make me want to play.
I don't think rifts are the MAIN feature of the game, they are simply just a feature.. the title name itself comes from the games lore..
