Well I play guitar and bass and i know some drums but tbh the guitar on rock band/guitar hero does not relate to a real guitar at all....... as for the drums on rock band, they genuinely can help you as it helps with beats and tempos and patterns.

Indeed, The guitar is nothing like guitar. Altho it does help with finger movement in expert mode. If they made the guitar have more buttons or more combinations then it would feel more like a guitar.

The drums is alot more of a genuine help for anyone wanting to learn drums.

Either way its still a fun game and even more fun on expert.

The guitar will help people move fingers quickly, that was my main problem when attempting to learn guitar, even though I can type pretty quick and move my fingers rather fast that way I found it really difficult. I gave up learning it like as I prefere to listen to music than play it

You should learn to play violin.

But yes it helps with finger movement tho anyone who learns to play guitar knows that there are several exercises you do to train your finger movement.

meh. I play drums and enter sandman is one of the first songs I learned way back when. Very easy song. Probably easier on rock band because there aren't as many actual drum set components or musical techniques to worry about.
