he's got evrythin setup rite, he's deleted norton and it still comes up conn closed, ne more advice?

check www.speedtouch.com ,i had 1 in the past ,to get to the menu ,i had to type that in..and it worked..

if u are connected directly to the internet
go to Run type CMD then type in ipconfig
a line will pop up saying what your ip address is
use that ip address for your server and give that ip address out to the ppl u want them to connect too

Step One - Router Config
n.b you will have to login at this point.. so make sure you know your passwords & username - or have some one handy who knows them.
Step two - Forwarding the ports
this step will vary depending ont your router - but all will be very simmilar
you are looking for "Port Forwarding" / "Vertual Servers"
you need to forward TCP ports 7000,7100,7200,3000 to the LAN IP of your server computer
Step three - configuring the server
Step One - Router Config
1. Click start
2. Click run
3. Now Type CMD - and press OK
4. In the black window type
5. Uou should see some thign like this
6. We are intrested in the default gateway - this SHOULD be the IP for you router
7. Havving found this open up your browser, and go to http://<Default Gateway IP>

1. make sure the server is working 100% with all IPs 127.0.0.1
2. with all the IPs to 127.0.0.1; change the following to your WAN IP (www.whatismyip.com)
i've configured my Dlink 604 router and everything works
except the DBsrv says its Disconnected ppl can get to login but gates do not open
did everything i could but now i'm clueless

right my server is now online but now i cant seem to get past the gates ingame after logging on
other ppl can get past them but i cant
