Running Server on 2 pc

Hiya, is it posble to run the server using 2pcs?

like One Run the Gate and the other one run the m2server.exe?

Yes its Possible But not like how u said it.

Wot u do is have half maps on 1 pc and half on other. So its 2 Little Servers instead of 1 big 1

ur wrong the pile ya can do the dif exe's on dif pc's and ya can split the maps up aswell this is wot real mir 2 is like cannot remember excatly hows it sdun but i no it can be

If you want to run different exe's on different comps, you just change the address in the setup files to the ip of the comp where the exe it refers to is running.

If you want to split your game server over 2 comps because your comps are too slow or low on ram, you gotta add the second comp's ip in !servertable.txt (on both comps) with the index 1 (the main comp should be index 0), then go to !setup.txt and change ventureserver=false to true and edit serverindex (0 on first comp, 1 on second), then change all IPs to point the main comp (or whatever comp the corresponding exe's are running on).

ah sweet, i was going to look up that, should help my friend, he is insterested in making a server run on two computers because they are both pretty slow, thanks for the help. i looked at the ips in !setup and noticed that you could change them but wondered if you had to do that with anything else like in the LogDataServer.ini there are some ips along with others. but yeh thanks
