Running Slow On High Spec PC

the game seems to be running very slow on my new pc and dunno why i got 3gb ram a quad core processor and 512mb radeon gfx card any ideas please guys ?

First thing, your running a game on a quad core and the game is only single core designed so will notice on processor performance.

Also if you have 3GB memory, then I suspect your board is a dual channel board. Which having 3gb of memory in it will slow performance, as the dual will not be working correctly.

...and it use DirectX7 and DirectDraw7 with using System RAM, if you have a Onboard Graphiccard, I believe this Card is faster for Mir3 as the Highend 3D Card ;-) (Test it out, is funny)

I had the same problem SandStorm87. What i did was:

Start > Run
Type dxdiag hit enter
Goto the Display Tab
Where it has DirectDrawAcceleration click Disable click Ok.
Close the window and try Mir again.

Remember to turn it back on when you've finished
