+1 counts as a gem anyway. The only time it doesn't is from refining or if it's dura.

I refined a Wms to + 3 then went to gem it and got the error message. Either that's a bug or you're wrong I think!

You can only gem to +3. You can refine to +10.

So if you refined something to +2, you could then gem it once, then refine it another 7 times.

But you couldn't refine something 7 times, then gem it.

As above, if a stat is alrady +3 or more, Gems will not work on it. Even if you've never used a gem on it.

i think you should move all this to a new thread and then remove the bit where he mentions the gem and let his sales go on lol
