Until the market changes and there are more 26 weapons in game there is no point in him dropping his price. Reason for high price is low drop rates & demand, not people being tight.

If the entire server were selling an item at 1.5m, would you sell the same item for 500k to a stranger in the hope that it might change the entire market price on a 600+ man server?
