at the moment my flags for both sabuk and taosung walls look like npc's.
i hvae changed the looks in Merchant.txt to look like flags but nothing changed.

also i want to enable the flags to be taken by players and have them run off with the flags so the other guilds have to chase the player with the flag in order to capture it.

can someone help me with this please.

Restarted the server and it not changed? if so thats weird, should change.

Requires lots of scripting to script someone having a flag in their bag and then dropping it when killed and reclaiming flag etc etc

It can make the users to capture the flag and lose when they die, but it's a lot of work and no one will want to share,If you publish a base, people would be interested in developing it, greetings and good luck!

there is 1 gm i know of that has this working but as u said doesnt want to share.......

even if i had a base its something to work on/.

In theory it sounds straight-forward, the only thing which may be problematic is the killing of a player to get flag..... If someone has an idea how to do that then the rest is easy.

bud, might be an assigned item on character like a secondweapon and chance of drop is 1/1 , and everytime u die u lost it, . like you said would be okif someone knows how to advance with it the rest will look easy

You can add a movenpc and change flag to other.
You go to Sabuk.txt and after to capturesabuk -> add a movenpc.

Oh yes, nice idea, you get flag it starts script attached to player, player dies then the npc/flag is placed on spot player dies.... though I would add a movement to player so that they have to run to try to regain flag again ;)
