You all talk about him as if he has commited murder... He used cheats on a game, people need to get over it lol... He didnt get a perm ban, he made a new char which is already level 40
Point is his reputation as a legitimate player has been tarnished. Whether or not you agree or disagree, you using that forum account shared by him (who continues to post nonsense) means people will assume you're in the same boat as him.
Perhaps you should tell him to make his own forum account, it is after all your account?
And if you can't be assed then deal with the fact that people will tarnish you with the same brush.
imo cheaters should be reported in private, not publicly. Having an open thread about it is just asking for trouble.
I'd agree but it seems Samuel almost never replies to people through PM's, so private reporting means people have no clue as to whether or not anything is being done - but giving public exposure allows people to form their own opinions.
Personally, if it were up to me, I'd ban the use of "X user is cheating" threads if there's no video proof a long with it. Otherwise it's senseless babble and no real discussion can come from it because there's no evidence. But that's just me.
