Sat Nav Software on DVD

Hey well basicly i just baught a rip speed head unit for my car which has a small screen that pops up out of it i was just wondering if anyone on here knew if there is any type of software i could download n put on dvd and hopefully play in my head unit of my car to use it as a sat nav. Im not entirly sure if there is such software or anything so im just asking to see if anyone has came across anything like this before.

Sat Nav Requires for a Start a GPS Part - I can shove Routing Software on a PDA but its a bit pointless without something to tell it were you are - which is how it all works.

Does this Head Unit have Bluetooth for example?? Can you plug it into a PC to Transfer the software?? Personally go Spend £100+ on a proper GPS - Job done.

buy a map, cheaper they dont talk down to you and more reliable if you ask me.

I used maps for 2 years, sat nav is the best thing i ever got for my car. whack in a post code bobs your uncle fannys your aunt.

if you have a screen im sure you can get GPS installed into it, or at least so that you can view a GPS route from an actual sat nav, but itll probably be expensive as hell. Go and ask a professional...
