that must drink petrol like i drink alcohol lol. I drive a 1.8 but turbo, car has no weight to it so break horsepower per ton is well up there :) not sure of exact numbers though.

I usualy fill up 65 litre tank just before empty (bout 70bucks). and ill get to work and back all week and sometimes do the occasional trip to mates houses.

Id hazard a guess at around somewhere 200-300 k's per tank. not too bad really.

pic of the car is when i first bought it for 9k 12 months ago, only just started work on it.

in america your lucky to have cheap petrol. No way could i afford to run a 5 litre car in England, it just is silly costing over £1 a litre again >.<

id love to move to Australia. Very hot, cheaper than England, very civilised country from what i hear and they don't let any old person in the country from India/poland etc you have to bring something to the community, very well run country.

lol, I own 3 cars. My Saxo is a project car, being done for shows. I have a Vauxhall Cavalier GSI 2000, that is currently in the shop having body work done and being resprayed. Then their is our lasses car, which is a Vauxhall Astra (Though in my name).

vauxhalls are ok, though get a VXR, bit faster lol.

vxrs are petrol gobblers, m8s dad had a new astra vxr was smart looked well nice but was costin him like £80 a week to get to work n back lol so traded it in.

@ prai

if my dad was gunna spend the money on a 2007 discovery for me im pretty sure id rather take him n pick a different car for the money, probly get a nice navara for the same price

The only good thing about a Saxo is that even a 1.1 can go 100mph.

Apart from that, crap car.

Pfft, what car can't do 100mph? My 1.0l 205 cracked a ton...once.......downhill. I think the wheel nearly came off though. Good times.

LOL. I took you for a company car driver - a Vectra or something. However what you just listed is far more amusing.

wouldnt say fast as ****, they not the fastest of sports cars
although they would beat alot of faster cars because of the handling and acceleration.
remember once wen i was younger n a bloke left his in a car park with the roof down n we asked him why he dint put it up n he said cos the alarm will go off if anything goes past the windows (aka into the car) n he went to show us by puttin his arm in and it didnt go off lol so he went to take it to his mates to park it at his n then it wouldnt start n we had to bump him off lol had to push it at certain points tho cos the body would have cracked under pressure.

iv always liked the cars tho :)

sounds funny lol, thankfully i never had that problem and hopefuly never will. By fast i wasn't necessarily referring to top speed, just in general my exige does 0-60 in 4.6 seconds (i think thats the accurate time) corners like a dream though, never push it to the limit cuz i always think i'm pushing it past it's limit because it has so much grip.
