I know what you mean, but with it like that the text didnt look right, so i thought "**** it!" lol. Should have just resized the canvas, but theres a little bit of speckle in all of us! :tongue1:

Maybe increasing the gradient slightly to add a bit more hue because of the pale cyan. Otherwise it looks great; was there any particular aim for your work or is it a miscellaneous piece?

Personally I wouldn't say there's anything 'soft' about that at the moment. The background colour is way too harsh but you already know that. It makes the white very difficult to see.
