Are we sure this ring even works as intended? wasn't aware they were even in files, and considering the amount of set items and such that have been buggy or simply not working.....

Not when taos can res in 5 seconds.

Or the tao who is ressing . With or without res it is still a valuable item for anybody. In pk / wars you can be res but you'd drop. In this case a res ring would also act as a fail safe to gove you that 2nd chance to TT/pot & stop yourself from dropping.
