I've previously set up a few servers on dedicated servers and test servers on my own computer but i've tried to set a home hosted server up now and the IP setup that i've used before don't work the same with a router. I know everything else is fine because i've had it running as a test server on 127.0.0.1 IP's for months now so im 99.9% sure its a conflict witht he live IP's. Has any1 got a list of what IP's go where for a router or could even perhaps tell me. Saying change all to net ip or w/e isnt gonna help much coz i know some still have to be 127.0.0.1, cheers in advance

dunno what thats about lol maybe i didnt explain properly or you didnt read properly :p
The regular IP setup as in the one thread you will ever need doesnt seem to work if you run through a router rather than just a straight to modem connection. If maybe that was a way of saying your ports might be not forwarded then no they are forwarded as i have been running a test server for a while.

Oh soz thought u was asking for a list of router guides :S

Only Ip's that need changing from 127.0.0.1 are
Account Database, SELECTGATEIP's
and 3.55Working\Mud3\mir3server\HolleyDBSvr\!serverinfo.txt

127.0.0.1,YOUR ROUTER IP:7200

Wouldnt you need your router ip and your net ip not localhost? Depending no whether there is more than one computer on a network?

Easiest with $$: If you can't connect on LAN... Your router does not have loopback support. Get one that does.

Other ways will involve some config tweaks. On network settings, Or on mir server settings. Depends on your current config.

do some tests... without using client...

telnet netip 7010
telnet netip 7100
telnet netip 7200

if blank... it works... check gates to see if you are connected...

I don't understand what your problem is.

I've tried everything that everyone has pointed out to you and I'm able to login to the server over the network and also over the internet.

The only thing that I have done, is have all my IP's set to 127.0.0.1 and 2 IP's setup with my DNS name for no-ip and its all working fine. No hitch with it at all.

Have you tried to use NO-IP at all???????
