But it is a low rate. Maybe it leans a bit towards a medium rate, but it's still low.

I played a couple hours and I didn't get past lvl 20 or so in the beginning. Now they have some catch up mechanics so new players can join and have fun, but once you get to a certain point it gets harder.

Yeah I got put on that noob Island same place you start on chronicles. 1 hit butterfly's up to about level 30 and got too many drops for me to carry.

Hi @Far , server is low rate, Max level is 80.
Catch up mechanic exists for providing a chance to new players who would like to ... catch up ....

Is not mandatory either, if you would like to start slowly by the lowest experience possible - Can click WarpStone and it will teleport you to the Bichon Province.

Also @eldoco plays ZenX, he said low level because is kinda hard to lvl from 73-76-80 :P

Personally, I've been playing apoc v2, the server hasn't been up long so may not warrant server of the year but the team running the server are amazing. Very quick to respond and fix issues. It's refreshing to see a server with such a high uc and dedication from the gms to match the players.
