seams you catn run a server when you have Norton Internet Security Professional, some one please explain to me how i can allow Norton Internet Security Professional to think of the server files exe's are not 'bad' programs, thanks

i havnt got nortan but im guessing its a firewall and someway in ur settings it should say somthin like firewall:enabled disabled click disabled

im not a n00b about it ok.. what ur sayin is common sence... i know how to set permissona it just classes run gate as away of trojans gettin into ma pc.. need to make it so pc' thinks its safe.. but still block out harmful data..

Open NPF
under status & settings, click personal firewall, click configure
click advanced
click trojan horse rules
now you can allow/block your ports...

i cant allow a port thats blocked.... =/

also found prt 5000 n 7000 allowed em n... nothing..

Norton works for me you just have click yes when it ask you to allow mir running through your pc. Only things is everyone that connect to your server must be allowed. If you have good anti virus i wouldent worry to much about haveing it on, if you are still worried download a program called analogX and close all ports then just re-allow the ones that mir uses.

im on about runnin a server.. not mir.. duh.. it says rungate is a trojan or something..

Check each rules in the trojan rules section... unblock the port that matches your servers.

or just change your gate ports... if that's easier.
