Who is left on this team? It seems like Sam is the only guy left that's putting in aload of effort, we only ever hear from Sam on here as we use to hear from milo etc aswell, I'd hate to see this server fail, if your struggling keeping up with content etc maybe start recruiting afew people from here, there's plenty about, no need for them to have GM chars and powers etc, but just to work on pure content, new caves, items, skills, lvling areas? Running such a big server with a high population must be stressful, but it does seem like your team is struggling and players are leaving due to content.

Like I said please don't take this post wrongly, but maybe it's time to hire afew more.

The team including myself are still working on various parts of the server, just because we don't post doesn't mean things are not getting done .

What Happened to BH? I thought he was going to help control the forums and deals with users' questions/queries/moans? Would be nice to have him pop up his head and stop some of the biccering and moaning that surfaces its ugly head all to frequently.

As per the OP(and I've requested several times before), an older/slightly outded set of files and tools being released - lacking the drop files/mongen file would be great so that some of us can get on with creating content and still keep ACEM2 server secrets such as spawns and drop rates hidden from the public - a barebones set if you would. Anyone who has the ability to run a server should, at least in my opionin, have the ability to re-create these, and for testing/creating new content a full set isn't required anyway.

I posted something along the same lines less than a week ago I think. How can you wonder where they are if you are not around yourself? Everyone answered the question and it was worked out that most still working on files don't post because server is full of ungrateful cocks that just want it there way.

i really hope this server remains successfull but i know a few of us would love to have a look around at the server files..

since not everyone of us has enough time to play, having to test them is a great way for us to have a little part of the fun too.

as combie said, it would be ok if the set had only one drop file and maybe only bichon province mongen file so that less experienced user can see how they are structured (even though i guess they are kept the same) without given them further information which can cause the original server to loose in interest.

i think releasing the server files will not lower your current user count since most of the people enjoy playing a server than making it.

Laylas seems to need constant reassurance that someone is doing something. This is about her 6th post asking where are the server team what are they doing. Its SUMMER people go on holiday people have real life work to do(BH). You can see that there are things going on leave them alone to get on with it. Sounding like the comedy kid "Are we there yet"

Listen I didn't mean this in a negative way ok, alot of people on here are out levelling content pretty fast, I was only suggesting recruiting some1 to work on content, as people are getting bord and quitting, I do not want this server to fail just as much as you guys, and I don't want to see player base drop anymore, so maybe some1 just purely to work on adding new caves, bosses, levelling grounds

Swear it's been stated before, they don't really care if people leave, it won't speed up content and things will get released as their pace. I understand players think they're looking out for the server but the server owes people nothing, it's free, and they work for free, and in their spare time, when they get more time, more content. Until then threads like this are pointless, sorry.

Just a note on the release of server files also, as I believe the general consensus on subject is that we won't release the files due to the success of the server and I would like to clear up that this really isn't the case.

In order to do a good release of the files I would need to stop all work on bug fixing/adding content to the server and focus on tidying up what we do have and making it far easier and easy to use otherwise even after a release I would have an entourage of bug fixes for ace as well as "how to's" for files.

The focus can only remain on one or the other for the time being until the server is at a state where we can have a couple weeks without it needing constant attention.

Well I would concentrate on the server you are running and not on the files that are to be released.

Would make sense really. The Mir community is dying. What's the point in splitting it across more servers? This is the only decent non stupid level/stat server I have seem in a while.

You are doing great Samuel (not guna congratulate the others until they grace is with there presence) so **** the release files and do the server.

it's fine for me.. i was just saying that even releasing the files in an early date won't change the server situation. It has always been this way.. server setting is difficult for most of the players so they aren't even bothered.. while at the same time there are a few of us who can surely understand how to get the server to work without your how to's..

i don't know if this is just an issue i got but since i joined the forums and managed to make servers on my own i just don't enjoy playing them anymore

I enjoy playing AceM2 tremendously and am very happy with the community as a whole and wnkoy the banter within my guild and others I've met I'm not likely to be grabbing a set of files and start a new server from scratch.

I'm not at the stage of not envoying them, but I do also enjoy fiddling around in the back end and code seeing how it all comes to gether and making it better. So not just you :P

Having ran, what I consider to be(and quite a few of the old names I've met ingame), a fairly successful server and helped with the coding on several projects/helping others set up I'd quite like the privelage of having access to a reporitory with the code that i can download and play with. Maybe a benefit for those long term trusted members?

He'll I'm even more than willing to even go through code cleaning it up and adding comments and creating the "How to's" if you want a hand with that - spend a chuck of my dayjob writing/updating procedures/manuals for the not so savvy shall we say...
