Servers stance on botting? What can we do to report?

Whats the official stance on botting.

Can't prove anything ATM but seen some strange shenanigans in both BP and JP, especially when the floor auto teles you out when the boss spawns.

I've seen three repeat offenders all within the same guild too.


My main question is if we find someone we believe to be using 3rd party software to play the game for them what can we do to collect enough evidence to report them to the GM?

FRAPS, nVidia Shadow Play or any other recording software.

If they are repeat offenders and react strangely when warped from the sub floor you’ll capture it on multiple occasions, then it’s down to the GM’s with the information you have provided to make the decision if they are using bots/macros to play afk and how they want to deal with it.

Warriors might as well be AFK in BP anyway as they don’t have to do anything ;P

Didn't Jamie have bot detection on Marble? I would have thought he would have transferred / improved that to these files if he did.

Seem to remember it, though could be getting confused with Chronicles.

Not sure, don't know if it would work on the Mir 3 files either. Its quite the heated subject though and seems a fair few people have seen this random / suspicious activity.
