Setting Skill Keys Problem

would anyone happen to know why, when i click a magic icon to set the key for any skill the game freezes, I have to ctrl+alt+del and close it.
does anybody know what would fix this problem please?

Well thanks for finding the cause of the problem,

now could somebody please tell me wht exe i should have with the 1.9 foundation offline files?

i'm using the .exe from the updated files for offline use thread.

And i have been swapping the exes around for ages trying to get it to work and so far this is the only one that doesn't close as soon as it comes on after you select char.
