Setting up the Assassin files Lan/Online????

Well basicly im trying to get the assassin server files working locally across my network. But it seems to be playing abit hard. I have past experience with setting server files up so im not a 100% noob.

I have tried setting all the files to my pc`s router ip 192.168.1.68 (client and server files)

I also tried setting all the server files ips to 127.0.0.1 and tried connecting with the client ip address set as 192.168.1.68.

Both ways i get the chinese connection closed. This is abit weird for mir2 files to not work like this.

These files work 100% with the client and server files on the same machine.

Both host machine and my laptop run vista.

Any suggestions? As this is really getting to me now and i want to crack on with some more server side work but obviously i dont want to do this if i cant even work the files Lan or Online!!

i haven't tried these new files but the old ones weren't playable on a lan or wan.

Well why would this be? i need some sort of explination, As lifo says he has had them working lan with 4 pc`s.

Which confuses me unless he has mistaken the files with another set.

Why would files be released if they cant go live/Lan?

Like i said i haven't tried the new set, i'm starting the translations of the database. i decided to retranslate all the files againfrom original chinese to english, coz all the files around have some bugs and this way we will have a full set of files just like the original's!
btw do u know the names of the new magic's and items??? or a place to search for them?

I actually dont and to get a name list your going to need someone who speaks english that plays the korean mir. I dont think anyone has the real names yet but im not 100% sure on this. I dont see the point in working on the files if we cant use them live mate. But if you have any luck let me know also im interestead in these fully english files your trying to sort out :P Lets just hope someone finds a solution to my problem.
