!setup prob

when i try to run my server i get this msg and i dotn know how to fix. post if u do.

sounds like the paths are not correct

Check that you setup file is not ‘read only’. The sever control program need to be able to modify the !setup.txt (also check that !setup.txt is in correct dir as essex said)

It happens to me, here how i figure it out.

Open your !Setup.txt and look if the Map DIR is correct.

EnvirDir=C:\Mud3\Mir300\Envir\
MapDir=C:\EI\map\ <- You have to configure this. Find your MapDir Client and put here correctly. Don't forget it have \ at the end.

i fu get this error is cose u got ur server files on some folder that isnt c:\Mud3\

Uprobly unzipped em on something like C:\Mir3server\Mud3\ so the path isnt ok
