Shards maybe bugged

I bought a Magica bracer with 2 slots, yellow and purple and also i bought 1 Yellow shard and 1 purple shard

Then i clic + ctrl the shard over the ítem.. many times, but nothing happened, a popup ask for confirmation... but the ítem and the shards still in my bag

I asked my guildies and think i need another type of shard/ítem, i decided toe sell all and give up, put allt he ítems in TM and sold. Already sold shards and gold is in my bag

My surprise today (after selling the shards) i sold the Magic Bracer... with shards in the slots!

Ítem image in the TM says shocket: Yellow shard (1) and shocket: Purple shard (1)

Please check my logs, becouse if its is a bugg... many people should be able to socket shards... for free

You have to CTRL click the item without the shard i believe, this then shows you the sockets that you can drop the shard into.

Somthing along those lines.

Note when you sell an item in the TM if the person Gems it or puts shards in you will see this on the TM listing as the server see's it as the same item.

So the shards you seen are ones that they had put in after buying your item.

As i Said

I keep in my bag Bracer and shards, and the ítem was empty, with 2 free slots

When i checked the tm this morning, the ítem had 2 shards inside

And my shards... i sold in tm, so i never lost them

I realised that after posting and have edited my post above.. Its likely to do with the TM bug where it shows the item stats on the consignment of the current stats rather than the stats it was sold with. IE you sell a stack of 10 black threads, but when you go to collect them it suddley says it's a stack of 50 - that's because the item has been merged after the sale and the Auction info still references the same item thus showing the new stats. Same with Gems etc.

Also tried this for peace of mind if an item is destroyed you can still claim your cash (Doesn't disappear from TM)

Exactly.

Quite annoying when you sell something and you see its been maxed out with Gems lol.
