Was just wondering around because of the last couple days saw people whining about anything you'd that'd be able to come to mind and I respect this guy for still hanging in there doing as much as he can. If you people haven't noticed but this guy is online on lomcn almost the whole day and reads all you people your posts. The only reason things don't get done as fast as people want to is because this is their hobby not their life nor job. And they have much more to do next to fixing bugs and implementing new content into the client. If you ever knew how much work it is to make something that doesn't exist or works totally different from most function you'll be rewriting this altogether which takes up massive amount of time which he also could be spending with family instead of us.

Just think about it for once and be grateful that this server has such good people running it ,instead crying like little pigs.

Also lcd and sam you doing a great job too :P

Yes I do have a sad life and spend to much time on this forum :P

It's not just me, I just post here and then pass stuff on, the others also read here too just not as much as I lock them away in my basement and try get the to code stuff.

In fairness to some of the Flames, it's because they care about mir and want to see it keep going (we all do)

Chronicles has been online for over a year now, it's been a long time since any new mir server has been able to say that.

Just get more staff, i thought that was the idea behind this community, i bet theres lot of ppl willing and able to do various things for you if you ask.

aye, seeing the benefit of criticism(flames), even if produced in poor and sometimes abusive ways is the best way to see it.
BH has flipped his lid a few times but credit where credits due, the team do provide a service, free of charge that I and many others enjoy and want to see live a long life with many more improvements.
I would suggest moving further away from the "official" clone that this game no longer replicates and really start introducing some original ideas. trial and error can happen on a live server providing the errors aren't game changing. don't be afraid to do something crazy, you can always revert it back if its unsuccessful (like the flinch change)

Wouldn't trust most people around here with jack. Small teams are stronger teams. Larger teams are more open to corruption and leaks.

why do you think company have a team not nd just ran by 1 person?

a business is never ran/worked on with a 1 man team and no with employees... there is always people who want to help.

the server team don't want to look like there struggling?

FIND trusted people who you know to help? just like each one of the chronicles team got a job..

so your basically saying this is a community with no trust at all?

And just like most businesses, if you're an employee you can't take part in a lot business activities (retailer competitions come to mind) - conflict of interest and such.

I don't think a larger team is always bad, but a larger team of people who play the server themselves and will lean towards their own self interests is a bad idea.

Because if the server files were leaked, a monopoly could be could be destroyed. In our eyes, the server could be run much better/effeciently. In other peoples eyes, the £'s are coming in just fine the way it is.

yeah i can definitely see what you mean by it could lead to corruption and other things.

but maybe getting 1-2 people to add to your work force (for more updates / content as it has gone REALLY stale)

even if there just coders or someone who is awesome at making maps they don't need have GM powers or even a GM account nor do they even need to play the server.

im sure plenty of people on here with good knowledge of MIR would jump at the opportunity as it really seems like you guys are struggling or something :/

If the team leader himself is corrupt, then how is adding more people going to solve the issue of corruption?

I do not understand why you are trying to attack me, when this is a proven fact.
