The normal shops still buy and sell items, yes they seem to have lost their shopping list (stuff sold to them) but we hope to fix this later.

The junkmen are mainly there for quests and repair, they are not designed to buy and sell items, that is what the normal shops are for and it takes a couple of minutes to tele around them

He said that junk man buys for less than 50% of shops, so people are being silly selling to him anyway, sounds like it needs a little tweak for cheap refines and noob kits though.

They're not silly, it's just convenience of doing it all in one place.

The Junk needs removing and a repair all adding in its place, or better still, re-code the medallions as that's the only reason it's back...

The junkman has always sold what people have sold to him. it was stopped at the start of the server because his store was full of books like flamefield and poisoncloud from beta. It's BS that u cannot buy from him people are lazy and will always sell to him we have a population of 200 people if we cant get the small amount of items people are getting for refines WTF is the point either remove it again or fix the npc script. I'm not the only person i have 10 people on teamspeak agreeing.

Why don't you remove the sell functionality (since you can't buy from them anyways) if it's not what the NPC is designed for? That's like adding KR teleports to the Potions NPC, then saying it's not designed to be used for teleports to KRs.

Yeah. adding junk man and not allowing to buy what he has bought is a mistake. Noone will use the shops to get rid of junk. Unless they are in need of the extra cash :/

well at present 70% want him modified so he doesnt at least take items
i knew i wasnt alone in missing trawling the shops for stuff
i do hope baby will sort this and my guess is he will because he does listen

Why not implement the junkman with the same code as the equipment npc in woomyon? he can buy/sell/repair pretty much any item and you could also link the quests to them, the equipment guy in woomyon is th best place for refine items imo
