Hmm... I think I found the problem. Urban m8, I'm using (testing) the copy of Office on your website, and there seem to be some registry defects in it or at least most the visual basics components in excel don't work.

Thanks if you can help!

I have another office I can upload this weekend. What exactly is the problem/what is missing with this one.

Alright, basically, it appears that when the program is installing, not all the components get registered, or somehow they get distorted because the VBA tools in Excel and Word (and most likely all of office programs) don't work. They return an error like the ones shown above.

In word it is more specific, it says;

Do you get what I mean?

Microsoft says something alot the lines of a registry mess up and the article I searched for only applies to Office 2002/97 so I don't want to mess with it lol

Hope that helped

Well, my main rig is down so I can't access any of that stuff but if you write what do step by step I can test the problem on my laptop.

Okies nps :D

Open Excel, View => Toolbars => Control Box (not there by default), Try adding any of the controls at all. Do the same in any other office program and you will get a registry error/corrupt program window :)

[Update]

I've been browsing around and have found out that the Office program on your ftp contains an outdates "Edwin's Power Tools". It is irrelevant and causes problems when you use it with 2003 because its made for 97-2002.

Yeah... that sounds like the stupidest explanation ever Turin.

Perhaps just ensure Forms 2.0 is installed correctly.

:/ I fixed it by uninstalled Edwin's Power Tools lol. I suppose it messes with the different programs to add its own features.

Ty for response though,
Turin

ps -

Why are you using the power tools in the first place and why don't you just download new ones.

>_< Yup I should've looked at the ReadMe before installing it, I assumed the package was not internally incompatible. I've never used the power-tools before, was checking what they were, no damage caused though, was all done in a test environment. Just a warning to others though, not to install Edwin's (the one on the disc).
