For me removing the +4 attack speed passive has ruined sin, now have to spend 200k an hour just to buy a potion to have the same effect, Bloody Flower is so pointless now without the speed to help with regen i now feel so sluggish and cant even lure like i could do previously due to the not so fast 15% regen, yes there is a gale set but that then makes sin have to make a choice of the higher damage with a mp set (Vigor) or speed with Gale set. If i wanted to be sluggish i would have rolled a war.

Just my opinion, any one else have any opinions on this?

I'm sorry you were used to the sin having naturally Attack Speed, which was more than intended.

I appreciate that you feel your has been "nerfed".

Ultimately there's no justification for sins to have the natural attack speed along with the highest damage, they already have more attack speed than a warrior because of weapons.

All that has happened is you no longer gain the 160ms quicker attack compared to everyone else. Noticable? Sure, Game Breaking? No.

All i am saying is naturally an assassin type class in any game has high attack speed, warrior is a tank with good armour wizz high aoe dps even tao has good aoe dps, sin single target dps needs the speed ;)

Is attack speed even that noticeable for a Sin anyway? On my Sin all my damage comes from skills with global cool-downs my standard attacks do 1/4 the damage so why would I even bother using them except as the single auto attack that fills in between the cool-downs?

Using observer mode I don't see any Sins using standard attacks, everyone's hitting using skills? Am I missing something?

Warriors require attack speed more so then sins. It costs 200k an hour for a haste drug at level 44.

I'm confused as to what relevance it has in relation to the subject. Sins don't really need / benefit from the attack speed bonus anyway as they are subject to global cool-downs rather than doing continuous basic hits like a Warrior

if that’s what you believe. From my testing attack speed effects the lotus cool downs. Jamie will confirm, this was why we added the speed 4 passive originally to increase the damage output at higher levels mainly.

I can confirm that higher attack speed = faster lotus cooldown.

Faster attack speed by any chance = faster bladestorm cooldown ? :)

It doesn't.

However I did look at the code to check and found a bug.

When using FS, DR or BS, The cooldown on the others was higher than intended (FS -> DR, BS) (DR -> FS, BS) (BS -> FS, DR).

Server sets the CD to 2 Seconds, however the client believes this CD should be 3 Seconds.

This is fixed on reboot. (Will be 2 Seconds on reboot)
