Single Core Server

Im looking to completely replace my hardware for my mir 3 server but because it will only work on a single core CPU im having mega problems, can anyone recommend where and what i should be looking for, I want the best specs I can get but on a low budget, any ideas please?

AMD Phenom II X2 555 Proccessor - 3.2Ghz - Black Edition ( 70£ )
4GB RAM ( DDR2 or DDR3)
ASRock N68-S UCC - Motherboard

^^ That is what i use in all my pc's - Great for gaming and also running server is fantastic. takes me about 20seconds to reboot full server ^^

you can now get 3.4Ghz AMD Phenom Proccessor now for 50pound.

for a full tower it costs about 180pound which isnt that much tbf.

anymore thoughts on this please, it seems a reals hame to get a quad core or something and to turn 3 of them off
