Just a question here as I am not really too familiar with the Assassin class. Are they supposed to make you flinch to the point where you can't even walk/ run off? I understand that they have attack speed on their side and Haste maxes it but when I fight a Sin, once they start hitting me, I flinch so much that sometimes I can't even move.

It's also worth mentioning that I am a little bit slow on here so maybe that contributes to it.

I'm not slating the class in any way or anything. Just wondering if this is intended or maybe a small glitch.

Thanks.

It's because of attack speed and it's not as bad as you say.. Assassin is almost useless in pvp against a warrior, only good for wiz, archers, and some times tao's so even if this was a real thing maybe it was intended to balance pvp.

Yeah I realise that it's their speed that does it and maybe I wasn't clear enough but what I mean is, when a Sin is hitting someone toe to toe, the flinches happen so fast that you can't swing back or for about 3-4 seconds, you can't walk or run away. Similar to when you have a big lure of mobs and they hit you so often that you can't hit them back.

It's not like once they hit you, you're stuck forever or anything but it just makes you unable to move freely. I was wondering if maybe DoubleSlash makes you flinch twice. I know that TDB which is also 2 hits only flinches your opponent once.

If your finding a sin useless against a warrior your not playing properly, most the competent sins I know say they can beat most warriors

Most average warriors never die to sins. How often have you lost in pvp with a sin

Regarding the topic. I think on usa people used to get stun locked alot more then here. Slow game speed will only make this worse for you

The only time I lose to a Sin generally is when the stun lock happens. It takes 2-3 seconds before I can move a step and if you get FlashDashed whilst you're stuck, they hurt a lot. I am slower than some people but not too bad. I only tend to struggle in towns or in massive group fights.

I do wonder if there is a glitch though as surely this wasn't coded on purpose. Is it possible that DoubleSlash is flinching you twice when it should only be once maybe?

I have to agree here, sometimes when fighting sins the flinch is that bad i cant hit or even walk, run out of it just constant flinch which is damn annoying, its almost as if your chars para'd, surely i get that they attack fast but to flinch until your char cant move cant be right?

Assassins are supposed to be Agil and quick , both attack and movement ... thats what a rogue / sin is right ? Or are Samuel and team redefining that word now ?

Shoulder dash opposite way..... Really isn't that hard...

This can't be done. When you're "flinch locked" you can't even move your char into a different direction.

Let me first start by saying - it's something I agree with needs looking into.

However. It's only when 2sins (or more) are hitting me at the same time, I find it to be literally impossible to move. Think of it like BDD Ghouls room with the archers at the door. It's literally like that - flinchlocked.

Yeah. Being slowish though, even with one Sin hitting me it happens. I can't even turn to SD out of it. Literally stuck in the same spot until they lose their rhythm or lag. It does need looking into in my opinion.
