So ive seen in the streams skills are going into the thousands still. Is it worth it to suggest that the skill-points earned be increased to x3 or drop the points needed per level to a third so its in-line with the character levelling?

I only ask as in another post afk levelling was mentioned. Its something which shouldnt need to happen really, takes away from gameplay and is just not fun at all, especially when you need 5k/8k etc to max out a skill level.

so, any thoughts?

depends on the skill really, most are easy to lvl some are a pain, i suspect there will be things in the GS to purchase, in order to speed things up.
But if not, i dont mind a bit of grind on skills, i prefer that than instant lvl 3 etc.

i dont see why instant level on skills would be a problem tbh, most people will just afk level most skills so whats the point in them needing to be levelled?

Lets face it compared to a lot of other MMOs there is a lack of content and things to do in Mir. It's mainly just a repetitive grind fest (which I love, I'm not knocking the game).

Level your character, hunt for items, level your skills and now you can quest too... If they make lvling skills instant it's taking 1 more thing out of the game that you have to do.

Granted most skills will be lvled AFK but it's still something I looked forward to setting up when I went to bed with a macro or 1p coin jammed in my key. I personally need to feel like I'm achieving something by "advancing" my character in levels, skills, gold & items so as far as I'm concerned skillpoints should be kept the same or maybe even raised.

+1 Totally agree, seriously what sense of achievement do you get from having everything given to you easy?
