Slow ass computer

It's something to do witht the domain...

Error I get:

"The user SONY-LAPTOP\newprofile could not be added to the Administrators group because SONY-LAPTOP\newprofile does not exist."

start> control panel> user accounts> create a new account

Easiest thing would just take it to a pc repair shop seens u dont sound like you know what your doing (no offence) u problys have 1GB or 2GB ram already in there, get another card matching whatever you already have and have them install it + a clean install of windows xp, probs cost £50/60 but then your Laptop shud be sorted for another few year and quite speedy =)

Right Click My Computer Properties > Computer Name > Change

Change to workgroup (you will need the domain admin password)

Reboot, you will be able to create accounts using the wizard in control panel.

Also with this computer being on a domain, if you are not connected to the domain startup times will be alot slower as its trying to find it lol.
