So we done some digging around... And it seems to be some Window mode vs Full Screen setting... If you are experiencing this lag/sluggish movement, try alt+enter into the alternative window choice, seems to go away... Will have to investigate why it is happening.

Myself I am very forgiving as far as speed goes (so I won't comment on plain speed of running) but I feel I get stuck behind objects very easy and it feels sluggish to move past them.

What I mean that when I run and get stopped by a rock or whatever else, I pretty well now always choose to back off completely and make a wide berth around the object because trying to take a short path around feels terribly sluggish, more often than not I get stuck again. Its like getting caught in some spider's cobweb...

Maybe the 'path finding' setting is set at some lower value than it should be and it makes moving close past objects real pain. Of course it affects entering town by gates or shops by doorways, it feels like there is not much space to go through, like you just have to be on certain line to pass through.

In BC where I am now, I rarely am able to go through doorways, always have to figure exactly where to move to be able to come closer and pass behind the door. Would it be so difficult to provide for wider pass throughs?? Or is that intentional to make it more difficult for boss runners?

mir2pion, i know your pain, seems like 'invisible' blocks when you try to run through doors in bugcaves. normally if u run into a mob on old mir's so long as your in the 'general' direction of the gap, the game will find u a way through, on here it seems u need to have pin point accuracy lol

Game runs fantastic on set. 99% of the areas... but on PB, I get delays before being hit, delays on mob deaths/spawns (spawns is kinda expected, mirs always done that).

I was wondering if it was down to the mobs having destinations etc.

Ghosting on PB too, players and mobs edge of screen, mouse over them and they go.

Mainly I don't like the outdoor running or riding (now that teleporting around is more expensive) because of the obstacles. It seems the auto navigation does better job of it and it is less frustrating.

Could be that the 'marking' where you can't step and where you can is marked out a bit less permissively than how it was done on official mirs. I am not sure if 'path finding' setting comes into this - it affects how mobs are able to make it around objects, like BMaggots have it set pretty high as an example.
