Sluggish Pc need some help

Loving the server so far but I'm at the stage where i want to stop playing because of this. So basically my PC is a all in one, the server runs fine when its me and 1-2 other players but anything above that its just so slow and sluggish making it impossible to pk,pvp even targeting mobs sometimes so what I'm asking if there's anyway to improve the way the client runs on my PC.

I cant really afford to go out and buy a new pc just for a game so any help would be appericated.

My gfx card cant be upgraded, im gutted.

No issues with my net as far as i can tell because its only becomes sluggish when more than 4 people are on my screen

Having same problems, game runs at 100% cpu but can just about play except cant go on hunts etc. when i am running or using Horse other players just shoot passed me.
im only running Athlon 64 3200 1GB Ram on XP which would have been more than enough for Euro Mir.

I have a feeling its not spec based, i have turned off Firewall and have nothing else installed (did re-install of windows)
Very Frustrating

I don't know if this will help but you can give it a try.

Open the start menu and then in the run box or search box type msconfig.exe and press enter. When the window opens go to the start up tab and then tick the "hide windows features" or whatever it says. And then disable all. There is another tab with similar options and you can do the same on that one aswell. This turns off all the stuff in the background that you don't need so it could help.

Ye im totally stuck, im at the stage where i need big groups to go better places :/

You need what £250 to buy yaself a laptop or desktop nowadays hasent gotta be listed as "Gaming" just don't go near anything with integrated graphics... There's plenty of amd gcard and amd processor pc/laptops about for like £250, raise your budget to £350 ur get bottom end nvidia.. Which will be fine to run this game..

They can't be upgeaded because they are attached to the CPU.

it depends in the motherboard if you can stick a gpu on it.

Someone fancy finding me a pc at a reasonable price that will run this bloody thing smoothly without no slowing down? would be really appreciated.

If you do an Ebay search for "VIBOX PC" you'll find fairly cheap PCs ranging from £250-£450
this is next best thing if you do not know how to build a custom PC
I'm pretty certain the lowest price VIBOX could play this no bother - and in the future you can slowly upgrade CPU/GPU/HD

i spent 100£ on 2nd hand pc from my local pawn store, i then bought a 25£ gfx card from maplins.

no more lag.

well for 249 I thought that was pretty darn good. If I ever need to upgrade in the future that option is there. Cheers sonic you've twisted my arm into aimlessly spending an extra £250. Ill buy it next weekend.
