Smash set bonus

are the bonus stats working correctly for the Smashpendulum? as i dont see the bonus stats being applyed

If im right in saying
The smash Ring + Bracer gave a Aspeed+2 passive bonus
And
The Smash pendulum necklace alone gave a passive dc1-3 bonus?

could you look into this.

unless this server is going to be different, nop.

every server has been the way in the 1st post, with 2 different bonus's, makes the set achally useful at higher levels (eg so ring and brace could be combine with better necklaces)

No. The necklace only adds 1-3 if used with the ring and brace... Why would it add it by itself? Theres no logic in it. The necklace would just be 1-8 lol

Set Bonus is self explanatory, if you have the SET on you get a bonus..?

The set bonus add stats for just ring and brace together but if you add the necky it will then Add extra stats. Not extra stats for the necky on its own.

The set bonus add stats for just ring and brace together but if you add the necky it will then Add extra stats. Not extra stats for the necky on its own.

Just want confirmation from a GM to confirm if the bonus is working properly or not.......

As said, its not been like that on any server in history of mir.

Every single mir has been like so..
The necklace has always given that dc1-3 bonus on its own (yes its stupid, they should just add the stats to the neck)...
and the brace and ring by them selfs gave the Aspeed+2

None ever has any interest in the necklace on all other servers as gale neckys where easy to obtain and the choice of necklace for everyone.


and for the people saying "its a set item you need the SET".
Then why does just the bracer and ring give the aspeed+2?......

All seem to agree with me. along with the experience of playing all other servers in the past.


The neck has always given the dc1-3 when worn alone.....go check for yourselfs...

Just like when wearing other certain set items alone give you bonus's.........

As i cant upload my offline copy of Mir2 resource.

The Apex website will have to do.. http://www.apex-guild.co.uk/guide/mir/database/items_sets_mir2eu.htm and this hasnt been changed in years.... so....

and i CLEARLY remember the necklace alone giving the dc1-3 bonus, as ive always thought it was weird as hell, and wondered why they just didnt add the stats directly to the item.


Notice the Item Bonus's are next to the item..... and the COMPLETE set bonus is shown at the bottom of the set box.





Still dont believe me? go set up some stock test servers and check tht way aswell.......








Mayb it was intended as a set bonus? but it has never been implemented that way.
(as said noone ever took really notice of the smashpendulum bonus stats as people would almost 90% of the time be wearing a gale necklace.)



But one main point of this thread is are the bonus's achally working and being applied?

... this is around the lines of what I thought. Spookily enough I'm doing sets atm, but will take ages to confirm.

You can however make the sets do whatever you like, pre-Acem2. Don't know how ace onwards does it.

To do partials, you can add some logic if it's not working. (i.e. a set within a set)

Correct. Sets do work here yes.

It does need to be changed so it is viable across all 3 DC classes, unless of course they introduce a new set for archers and another for sins, in which case it would be fine to stay the way it is.

Ive been asked to provide proof of the stats, witch i have done...
And like i said, go set up ur own stock server and see for yourselfs.....

Now wheres your guys proof? sorry but memory isnt good enough...
