some problems and dont know if i am the only that face it or not

when i start the game error msg appear "game audio initialization failed, will not be able to play background music"

and inside the game the option window functions dont work

i'm asking if there is some game files maybe broken or it is like that with everyone ,and if there is a possible solution to solve those problems

Hi

This seems to be an issue that is local to you (not reported by anyone else)

In relation to the sound, it maybe a sound card/drivers issue, so you may need to reinstall them

I am unsure what you mean by the option window function dont work
some of the option need you to close the game and log back in for them to take effect

in the setting like poison pref. work only with shortcuts
other options like disable guild showing rev bar and etc. doesnt work and dont have any shortcuts
i thought there is a problem with some of the game files i run the patcher and there is nothing to be downloaded
and thnx for answering

Also what version or Direct have you installed?

Maybe update Direct X and see it that fixes the issues

Click the start button > type "dxdlg" into the search box > click dxdlg

Also are you starting the client from a Shortcut? Do you experience the same issue if you run the actual client (C:/MirChronicles/mir2.exe)?

when i search for dxdlg only view site talking about how the dxdlg is dangerous (note: i'm using windows 8.1)

and i am always running the actual client but i directly installed the game to my E drive not C drive

i got those photos from searching for dxdiag
option menu include the auto pot too it doesnt work

I sometimes get this too, but only on my 2nd copy of the game not the main one.

Occasionally get this as Easie described - running second client on same machine.
