Some things i want to be sure of...

Well hello there. This is my first post so im a little exited. First i want to congratulate you for this awesome site. Its really cool and you can find a lot of usefull things.

I was thinking of making a Legend of Mir 2 server (just 4 me and some friends). I have a crappy internet band just 256Kbs so dosent worth to put it public...

I am running Windowz XP Pro SP2 on a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with 1GB of RAM memory. The only inconvienent is that i have a 12GB HDD with 5200 rpm . I would like to know if my computer can sustain a server of lets say 10 players...

...and if you have 256kb upload speed it will be capable of hosting publically.

thanx for the answer i am wondering of setting up the server but im not really sure how (yes yes i know there are many guides)

i am wandering if someone can set it up for me...i am offering remote deskpot connection so it will be fairlly easy...just i am looking for someone thrustworthy...its a risk im taking to grant....

If you specify what mir you want e.g 1.4 or 1.9

And I advise trust noone with remote command, You will regret it. Unless you have a clean install.

no im looking for someone to help me 4 free i mean if someone want to help me its ok if not no problem

im not bothering too much with the remote connection cuz i can format my HDD anytime..dont have important things on it...so hackers be my guest to hack me out punk:
