Something causing blue screen.

Installed Zircon yesterday(?) to check out the observer mode.
Opened it twice since, and played around for 30 mins.

Subsequently, attempting to open a steam game (an anction i have performed thouands of times without fault) after closing zircon causes a blue screen. This happened both times. nothing else changed in this timeframe.

I can replicate it, as i did it once more just ot make sure.
- Open Zircon.
- Close Zircon.
- Click 'play' on my steam game.
- Blue screen.

Prior to installing Zircon i don't even remember the last time i had a blue screen. It is without a doubt causing the issue.

Maybe your pc does not like running at a high processing.

try turning off v-sync Ingame. Push O for options.

You did not read/understand what i posted. I have no issue running the game itself, or any game for that matter. However, for the sake of clarity after exiting Zircon, trying to run any game through steam is causing a blue screen.

This only happens if i run Zircon since last reboot, hence Zircon is messing with something.

Could be a resolution issue with zircon changing your resolution outside of your base res?

You definitely don't get a blue screen when opening any game through steam normally - without running zircon I mean?

My base resolution does not change after closing Zircon, as in its not messing anything up in that regard. I'm actually using 1920x1080 as native anyway atm. So i don't think it's resolution related. Doing the process exclusively in windowed mode gives the same result.

As already stated, this is whithout a doubt something Zircon is doing.
- This has never happened before, I open steam games most days at some point.
- The simple fact i can open a game 10 times with no issue, yet simply opening and closing Zircon triggers this the next time i click play should be more then enough clarification here.

Its seens you only one having the problem, so its like a 1/1000 situation, maybe your GPU driver version does not work well with Zircon

I had a problem before, when i run zircon i got sometimes a blackscreen, for me was the anti-virus

Weird hmmm :S, try running the following in command prompt

[FONT=arial]netsh winsock reset

followed by

[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]netsh int ip reset[/FONT]

Once done go into Task Manager >> Startup

Disable the automated start-up protocols for "Steam" reboot and let me know if it still persists. Do you get any error messages on the BSOD?

this is the same problem for me, i open steam games and zircon at the same time, after couple hours of playing zircon. It's getting bluescreen and restart, my pc stuck on "press any key"
