I ain't mad at that, good work.

The only thing I would say is that it would be nice to see more of the design, and less of the black empty space. Consider your positioning in that sense, it seems like half your design is promoting the artist's name, where as really it should just be a signature. Other than that the actual grunge design is nice, good choice of colours.

And the black space at the bottom, adds to the peice, as opposed to what Valerii said, IMO.

My views are on the perspective of art as a whole; it's a commonly known aspect that the goal of any piece is to fill it with as much creativity when applicable. It's also uncommon to label purposed work so boldly. Lyrical and I make similar pieces, that is, work that's not a signature/website/avatar etc. I’m not saying that the black space should not be there, if he feels it so essential to label his work, but just that it shouldn’t take up so much of the piece. It deviates from the outstanding brushwork at the top; I would have thought it pretty simple to comprehend. Too much of a contrast can often be a negative thing.

You are, however, entitled to your opinion.

altho, "brush work" can be heavily criticised, i personally think the brushwork in that is HIGHLY effective, thus giving a great piece of art
truth be told, i tried to make this criticism constructive but i cannot find a thing that you could improve or change, im not gna pick something out for the hell of it

Yea, there seems to be a little misunderstanding over what I was intending. That area wasn't supposed to be a tag, Originally it was also brushed over, but I thought it looked alot better left solid. I think it's the text in the black area that lets it down, I made it a little bit too large, and maybe putting it in the middle made it more of a focal point.

I'm still pleased with the overall effect though, especially the brush work, wanted something grunge, without going over the top due to the nature of the design. Worked out nicely as far as I'm concerned.

Also, fantastic feedback lads, especially the formal critisism from Val!

Sorry to disappoint but the text in the black area was infact one i downloaded, known as 'Scriptina'. (or something like that)
