Sorry but seriously pissed off

Ok guys im sorry for posting but ive searched bout this and i know its probably a simple problem but i keep getting an error about maps on m2 and it wont load any further .. and i know wot ur gonna say ips wrong or summit but point is it isnt becoz my m8 sent me his files and his work for him and my comp still gives ma an error. Ive turned all my firewalls and everything off so does any1 have any idea why i still get this error? thx

Ok what u need to do m8 is either:

• Get some other map files, the missing map files make the M2server throw errors.
• Or there is a way of by-passing it by going into MapsInfo.ini or MapNames.ini and delting the maps which u dont have.

I am no expert , so use these @ your own risk but they worked for me m8
I cant garantee it will work but its worth a try

Best using step two as last resort unless some1 knowlegable backs me up :P

yup, try dat m8.

it prob cuz u aint got all the maps, jus delete the maps u dont hav then (fingers crossed) it should load!

Right i dnt understand this **** at all ...my m8 sent me his files.. which work for him but not for me maybe its my 1.4 folder ffs i hate servers now there is always somethin that goes wrong! there cant be anything wrong with the mapinfo.ini and there is no mapnames.ini lol atleast i cant see it in Envir , anyways could my 1.4 folder have anything to do with this **** coz im no noob to servers but im confused tbh. thx 4 any more replies

jus look in ya map folder to c wot maps u hav,
then delete the 1's u dont in the mapinfo.txt in the envir folder,

Oh and btw 1 of us cant be usin D: and one of us C: beocz my m8 sent me his files u toss so we wud be usin the same and if u use D: it doesnt work!
