Usually SOTW contests either have polls or open voting (which is set at the beginning of the test i.e. "first to five votes"). That way everyone participating in the thread must say:

"My vote is for [Name]. I like it because [Reason#1]. Why I didn't choose the other is because [Reason#2]"

At least that's what other graphics forums do + it also stops people from voting for themselves; you can also get a general idea of why people might vote for a certain person (i.e. m8s/gang voting - a serious problem in graphics communities sometimes, people group up and vote for each other to get titles).

Anyways I'm retired from this forum, got loads to do in school Have fun though.
