Sorry its not the same subject, but i didnt see any point in making a new thread. I have sound out off lom like windows media etc. but when im on lom i dont have any sounds at all. I have all the wav files in correct place and i have both music boxes ticked to on inside of game, but still doesnt seem to work, any1 help with this please?
i downloaded sounmax sound card and it comes in a .zip file bout 10.dll files were do i place these to get sound workin agen or is ther owt else i download i think me mother board is that big oragnre brown color card its a asus p4r8l

how do i enable it m8 and i also downlaoded a 1mb audio driver named ALS100plus its a sound card ive checkd on this prog wat tells u wat drivers u have and theres no sound 1 at all so i tryd this 1 and in readme it says
After user installs the ALS100Plus sound card into the ISA slot in the computer
and powers on the system, Windows 2000/XP will prompt user with a "New Hardware
Found" dialog box since the ALS100Plus sound card is PCI plug and play. To
install the Windows 2000/XP drivers, select "Driver from disk provided by
hardware manufacturer" and click on OK.
2. Insert the "ALS100Plus Windows 2000/XP Drivers and Utilities" diskette into the
appropriate drive and select that drive from the prompted dialog box and
click on OK. Windows 2000/XP will copy all the needed files and set up all the
logic devices on the board automatically.
i thought these would go sumwere in system and u go 2 add hardware were i just been and it cant dectect audio software even tho i trydd intalling like 10 sound cards and maybe then it would pick it up and sound would work.Can u tell me how to get bios working and were u can find best details for sound card/driver in pc not itnernet downlaods.

yer i think it bcos it cant or read my chip thats audio chip can any1 send me soundmax audio chip or summet that will work has to be a chip to even install on comp its like the lil green chip not found when 1 prog is even if not soundmax sound might still work.
The link I posted WILL work with what you listed. If it doesn't then there's a hardware problem or it's not enabled in the bios.
