Wait one minute daneo, I started these files and I've probably put more work into the files than what he did, no offense to him as he knows how much work and dedication I put into these files before I put them online, it was weeks of well though out and detailed creation. I know for some reason or other I probably won't receive these files and someone else will, but considering how much work I put into these I think I should at least be the first stop for him to ask? you've done nothing to them or anything to help for that matter; no matter how "nice" you seem.
I have experience of running server files and being a game master on a high rate server, namely this actual server itself. I put the trust in Connor in the first place to continue work on these files and as far as I know he did, he maybe just doesn't have time anymore, but if anybody can take these files even further, to the next level, it's going to be me or him since we already know a lot about them.
The server does have most spells working, and Curse has been removed but been replaced by other skills to even out the scores. There are very few large bugs in the server files from what I remember and overall the files are pretty much ready for release depending on what work Connor's started.
Connor, before you release these files could you please talk to me on MSN, I would really like these files back so I can continue working on them again, I believe I asked you for them back a few weeks or months ago and there was some sort of problem with it. Even if we were to work on the files together that would be great.

Side note: daneo, I don't need you to reply to this message saying how much you deserve the files over me. Whether other people realise it or not, I'm going to be able to do more with these files since I am the tertiary designer whereas you have no knowledge of these files to start with. On top of all this, I designed and created these files in the first place and that should put me on top of the deck anyway; nevertheless it's not my decision who they go to, it's Connors'. I'm sure he'll make the right choice anyway, after all I have enough trust in him considering I sent him the files to start with
Thought you were using Woot84 as your lomcn account now? and there was no need for that essay, to be honest with you i didn't even know you had started these files and what's so special about them, they should have gone to whoever can put up the best server . . . or both of you work together on them. Unless that's not an option with you Ste.
Was abit pointless and i agree with you on every word you said.
Unlucky mate i feel that you were getting into the correct mood to work with these files and getting to understand how they could really be used to create a great server.

If i rember correctly, when we played this server Ste stopted updating and put it down because he "Couldn't be asked" anymore? whats ganna make him not do this, this time around?

Only time will tell really.
Although I would like to see both Ste & Ancient working together on these files but thats entirely up to the pair of them but I'll speak to both of them over the weekend and see if they can come to some sort of agreement.
You do realise the more you guys talk like this, the more it's going to ignite my ego and make me create a good server to prove you all wrong, keep them coming :P
I have started looking at the files, think I'm going to have to redo all the items and monsters because I have no clue :P I love the names though, they're definitely staying. I think I'll be transferring to either TD's files or LM like Connor said, these files aren't really up to standard, small things just ain't working for me and it's slightly annoying

wasnt ste or steish banned due to stealing files or something along them lines? i remember playing euphoria and ste was in 1 word crap, i understand their his files but it wont be a server ill play.

Think you got that the wrong way around pal, lol. Someone stole HIS files and got banned.
I've never stolen any files, some guy stole my files; somehow and we're unsure of how. We knew this for several reasons and had proof of it and they were therefore banned, my server files were created by me and when I didn't have the time to update or run them anymore for various reasons I sent them to Connor and Miles.
Now I've seen what the items do and how they work I'm quite impressed, pretty unique way of working them and they all sound pretty nice. Connor has actually done quite a lot of work from what I can see, and it's not just a mob creation here, an NPC thrown in there. It's well thought out and planned.

But still surley you remembered he had asked for these files back? So surley it would make sense to go speak to him and see if he still wanted them before making such thread?
Im not taking sides as i never have done, I just think its abit unfair raising peoples hopes for no reason.

tbh alot of servers get a high user count at 1st then ppl realise its **** , ive played alot of servers where hits 50-60 in first few days and then ppl realise its boring or find another server , just cause u got 60 users in a week dont mean it would stay same or even rise
Right so you've covered one of my questions, now answer the next. People complained for weeks when I put it down, I'm not talking one or two people I'm talking every time I logged onto MSN I'd get spammed by 10 or 11 people.

it was the only server online at the time, and it was quite fun (all high rate are rly)... most wanted it back online for soemthing 2 do
i aint sayin the server was crap lol, but it did need a lot of work.
i remember connor sent me the drop files, u had the rare euphoria kit at like 1/100 lol >< and most ppl just lvled off the exp things, rather than lvlin normally
like i say, it wasnt crap but it did need quite abit of work. but if uve learnt from ur mistakes not hard to tweak the bad **** and make it better ^^

Who cares about past servers, he has a new set of files and is going to do his best to get a decent server going.
