Spawn limits

is there a limit as to how many mobs u can spawn cos in my sql ive got like 3 lines of the same mobs to spawn 1000 each 12 mins and i dont get 3000 mobs :/

any help ?

move the spawns around, there is a limit to how many can spawn in 1spot, so if u make it spawn like 12:12 - 100mobs then 12:13 - 100mobs ... unfortunately im not sure how many can spawn on 1 spot, you can go ingame and type @hen 1000 and see how many acctually spawn lol :P guess u would have the answer!

if you go to a map and type @mob hen 100
then @clearmon <mapname> * 0
you will see that you cleared 67 mobs

This means that the maximum amount of mobs that you can spawn on 1 spot is 67..

How ever
If you face a wall and do the same thing the mobs will spawn randomly around the map actually givn you the 100.
This is the reason when you set your spawn table to spawn 100 mobs you get mob lagg because the server carnt actually spawn 100 mons on the same spot.My advice is to only set your spawns to 50 and add more spawn cordinated and make your range about 50

so hens would be 50 mobs at a range of 50

the higher the values the more lagg your create.hope this helps you,
