Ok so clearly some people are at the speed cap and some aren't. Samuel I'd like your assistance with this.

I can't for the life of me figure out why this is, I know people on bog standard PCWorld computers who are at the speed cap and some people who can run Crysis on Ultimate are slow in-game.

So something has to be up, so lets try and figure it out. ACPI was figured out eventually for Euro Mir, lets see if we can figure out what makes people faster on Chronicles. Can you please, if you're SLOW IN-GAME (you notice people skipping all over the place) post the specs of your computer, and the Operating system you're on.

Also if you notice you're at the cap or you've been told you're very fast, post your specs also. Such as follows (my specs):

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3970X CPU @ 3.50GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN
256GB Samsung SSD (chronicles installed on this)
4TB Harddrive
27Inch Dell Monitor
32GB GDDR5 Ram* Missed a G and it's 32, not 36 lol, thanks Jamie.

--

Thanks. If we can somehow get everyone at the same in-game speed then maybe people will stop throwing around cheat accusations when they lose a fight (one can hope)

I'm just trying to help, so if you don't have anything relevant to post, don't post at all.

Forgotten what monitor I have but I know it isn't the problem :p.

The only person I've seen not skip about on my screen is Eco, gives you an idea of how slow I am.

Would it also be worth people posting what sort of FPS they get and in what situations? Just a thought.

My Specs are:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (fresh install)
Amd Phenom ii x2 1090T Thuban @3.8ghz
Zotac Nvidia Geforce 580GTX Amp Edition
corsair iv formula motherboard
Samsung 256gb Evo SSD
6GB Corsair Ram
BenQ 24 inch monitor

Tested windowed mode, full screen,ping(22) etc etc but for some reason about 90% of the server skip around on my screen like crazy which in turn becomes a pain in the ass trying to catch people while fighting. Ive spoken to many many people about this and many of them have bog standard pc's yet seem to be in the faster bracket of players on here.

It's not a case of wanting to be faster than anyone, its the fact i want to be able to play on par with everyone elses speeds atleast, so im hoping sam can explain whats going on?

I have exactly the same problem, but only in pvp. I get that rubber band effect on characters, but only specifically when another character is running as opposed to walking. This problem seems to come and go quite frequently

36GB DDR5 graphics memory ?

he has 36GB of DDR3 ram

they only DDR5 Ram is actually GDDR5 which is specifically graphic memory and is actually based on DDR3 with different timings and cannot be used as RAM
